【CASS Empowers Over 800 Female Immigrants in Career Development Through Successful Employability Support Program】
We are thrilled to share the news of the successful conclusion of the “CASS Take the First Step to Start Your Career – Employability Support for Female Immigrants to Start Your Career” early this April.
The program, which was funded by the Australian Department of Home Affairs, has delivered 32 sessions and 15 field mentoring lectures since last April and concluded with a “Volunteer Workshop and Farewell Party” one year later. It aimed to provide practical support for Korean and Vietnamese female immigrants aged between 40 and 60 who face career disruptions due to language barriers and childcare duties despite having tangible qualifications such as degrees or skills, leaving them uncertain about how to begin their job search. Eventually, together, we empowered over 800 women (approximately 600 Koreans and 200 Vietnamese) to build up their confidence and take control of their careers.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the unwavering dedication and hard work of everyone involved, including mentors, participants, team members, and lecturers, in creating new opportunities that lie ahead!
