【CASS Family Day Care wins significant award at ACA NSW Sector Night】
CASS Family Day Care has won the prestigious award for ‘Most Significant Contribution Towards Early Childhood Education and Care Benefits for Families’ at the State of Our Sector Awards Night, organised by the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) New South Wales! 🏆
We were honoured to have the award presented by Hon Prue Car MP, the Deputy Premier, Minister for Education and Early Learning, and Minister for Western Sydney on 22 June 2024.
CASS Board member Mr Stephen Yang, General Manager of Child Care, Vocation & Training Services Ms Dorothy Hung, Executive Officer for CASS Child Care Services Ms Wei Shi, CASS Family Day Care Team Leader Ms Fanny Wong, along with CASS Child Care Services staff: Ms Juan Li, Ms Carina Sinn, Ms Wendy Xu, Ms Monalisa Jani, and Ms Sarah Kim attended the event. Special guest Emeritus Professor Anneke Fitzgerald, the Founder and Chair of the Australian Institute for Intergenerational Practice (AIIP), also joined us.
A special thanks to our founding board members Mr Henry Pan OAM, Dr Leng Tan and Mr Ching Tan for their dedication to Family Day Care Services for decades. Starting in the early 1980s, when it was even harder for young migrant parents to find culturally appropriate services, our founding board members played a vital initialisation role in developing professional childcare services for the culturally and linguistically diverse community.
With a wealth of 42 years of experience, CASS Family Day Care services have achieved the prestigious award, highlighting our dedication to inclusivity and diversity. These principles are the cornerstone of our mission to cultivate a harmonious society. We provide opportunities for parents to actively engage in their children’s programs, enriching their learning experiences through the sharing of cultural traditions.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our board members, staff, educators and families for their ongoing support.
