【Celebration of International Day of People with Disability – 2 December 2021】
On 2 December, we celebrated the International Day of People with Disability by co-hosting the Groovability Festival at Burwood RSL Club! We were glad to see all the participants enjoying and having a great time.
Our dance team – “The Power Crew”, a group of participants of CASS Care Disability Day programme, had a dancing performance to the song “Blue” at the event. They had been practicing diligently in the previous weeks to get prepared for the performance on this special day.
We would like to thank our partners Burwood Council, Settlement Services International – SSI and Club Burwood Group – Club Burwood RSL, Club Burwood & Croydon Park Club for this successful Groovability!
International Day of People with Disability isn’t just one day in the calendar – it’s an opportunity to raise awareness and advocate for people with disability all year round.
CASS Centre-based Day program supports people with disability from CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) communities. Our Day Program provides a positive and safe environment where individuals can come together to create meaningful friendships and develop self-growth.
