Social support is the assistance provided to someone who needs companionship either at home or in community setting. Services include visiting, telephone calls and accompanied activities like shopping. Services are provided in Inner West, South-east, South-west and Northern Sydney.

Social Support Group (CASS Wellness Ageing Centre) is a service providing social interactions among a group of seniors in community-based settings like seniors centre. Structured activities are group-based in which physical strengths and cognitive activities are encouraged for seniors. CASS Wellness Ageing Centres are located in different suburbs like Kogarah, West Ryde and Campsie.

We have the following services for you:

• Connect Call To the seniors

Our trained bi-lingual volunteers can call you at pre-arranged times and offer care and emotional support.

• Friendly Visiting

Our trained bi-lingual volunteers provide regular visits to you at your own homes.

• Social visits

We can accompany you to out of home activities and social activities, whether it is shopping or joining social support groups.  The service may include transport, but our major purpose is to have someone with you, rather than simply transferring you from one place to another.

• Inner West Region of Sydney: Ashfield, Burwood, Canada Bay, Strathfield, Canterbury, Leichhardt, Marrickville;
• South East Region of Sydney: Hurstville, Kogarah, Sutherland, Rockdale, Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, Botany Bay, Sydney;
• Northern Region of Sydney: Hornsby, Ku-Ring-Gai, Lane Cove, Mosman, North Sydney, Willoughby, Hunter’s Hill, Ryde, Manly, Pittwater, Warringah;
• South West Region of Sydney: Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Wollondilly, Wingecarribee, Camden, Campbelltown.
