Our Facility Asquith will be operational in 2024!
CASS Asquith Project : Residential Aged Care Facility and Independent Living Units
461 – 473 Pacific Highway, Asquith, NSW 2077
This 97-bed new Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) combining with 11 Independent Living Units (ILUs) located in a favourable residential area in Asquith with shopping centres, transportation facilities and other social venues nearby. It will serve the frail aged people providing culturally and linguistically appropriate care and services, including meals and activities arrangements, enabling the seniors to age gracefully and happily.
Main features of this facility include :
- Architecturally designed, with bright, open space and uplifting elements, providing residents with high-quality living spaces and creating a community environment with rich cultural characteristics;
- Independent accommodation within a safe and caring environment, all 97 single rooms each has an ensuite;
- Spacious communal lounge and dining areas together with a community hall, all connected to external landscaped areas providing nodes for resident, family, visitors and staff interactions;
- The gardens are filled with rich cultural features and constructed based on four different oriental themes: plum blossom, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum;
- The interiors differentiate between the lively communal and quieter residential sectors and capitalizes on the abundance of natural light, reducing the need for artificial illumination;
- Arrangement of the building around courtyards enhances crossflow ventilation, reducing the need for air conditioning, leading to an environmentally sustainable environment with lower greenhouse gas emissions;
- The ILUs consist of eleven one-bed and two-bedroom units, plus a spacious activity hall, catering to the leisure and recreation needs of the residents. It will be a perfect place for the elderly to age in style and comfort.
