On Thursday, 29 August, our Hua Kang Thursday Dance Group, located in Hurstville, hosted a joyful Moon Festival celebration.

Federal MP David Coleman – Member for Banks and Nancy Liu JP – Georges River Councillor attended the event, joining the seniors in celebrating the Moon Festival and extending their best wishes. Board Members Mrs Teresa Chu and Mrs Winnie Fung, and General Manager/Strategic Support Ivan Wong, were also present to share in the festivities.

The group members performed dances, full of rhythm and energy, earning rounds of applause. Councillor Nancy Liu was so inspired by the atmosphere that she joined in the line dance with everyone.

Yuki, the group leader, expressed heartfelt thanks to the volunteers who selflessly dedicated their time and effort to organising the celebration.
