Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme

Looking for tailor made services?

At CASS Care we offer the following community visitor schemes:

Connect Call Service provided for seniors

Due to language barriers, Chinese-speaking seniors may encounter the situation of living in social isolation. We are able to help and encourage them to have contact with the outside world, participate in the community, get social support and assistance when needed, increase the sense of belonging and enhance their quality of life while they live in Australia. Our trained volunteers can give telephone calls to those seniors regularly and give them care and support. For more information on this service, please have a look at the following flyer:

Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme

Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) is designed to enrich the quality of life for residents of Government-subsidised aged care homes and care recipients of Home Care Package who are isolated from the community. Our team of voluntary community visitors will visit those Chinese, Korean or Vietnamese speaking care recipients – either from subsidised aged care homes or Home Care Package. The visitors and the recipients may chat, read and listen to music or reminisce, etc. At the moment, our services cover the region of Inner West and South-East Sydney.
